I have had the blessing, or some may say, the curse, of working at home for eight of the past fifteen years. So I think I understand a thing or two about establishing the ideal office at home.
I'll trust you don't need my wisdom in choosing the proper paperclip, or the best wall color, but here are some not so obvious things from the home office veteran to keep in mind.
Quiet & Privacy
You may have a job that requires you to either be on the phone a lot, or performing tasks that need intense concentration. Consequently, a calm and quiet environment will be a priority.
You might be sitting for long stretches like in a regular office. A fold out metal chair or spare lawn chair simply isn't going to cut it. You'll thank me later if you invest in a good adjustable office chair.
If you're likely to treat yourself to one nice item for your home office, this may be it.
Good Printer Ink Cartridges
The discounted re-manufactured cartridges didn't work at all. Quality ink cartridges will get your project out the door on time.
One more thing, make sure to have a good coffee maker near by and you'll be sure to have a productive office at home.room roof paint design, restyle my style, small french country kitchens
